We pride ourselves in our personalised service and attention to detail. The relationships we build with our clients are incredibly unique, in fact you will feel more like family than a client and that’s one of the many things that sets us apart from other studios. We revel in the emotion of capturing special moments in people’s lives. Be it the excitement of a pregnancy, the joy of a newborn, the love for a child or the relationship within a family, there’s no greater feeling than bringing a tear to someone’s eye with an image that you have created.
If you’ve never had a professional portrait done before and you’re feeling a little nervous – don’t be. Pippin has been photographing people professionally for over 20 years and has been known to put

even the most reluctant of people at ease, no matter what age.
So much so that people not only enjoy the experience of being photographed but are disappointed when it comes to an end. Much of our work comes from referrals, so your experience at the studio is paramount. Photography by Pippin asks just one small thing of you when you come for your portrait - throw away your inhibitions and trust us to capture the very best of you.
We photograph a variety of different looks at each portrait we shoot, from our natural light studio, to the studios surrounding areas. If your shoot is primarily of the kids, keeping them busy and interested creates some of the most natural images that allow their little personalities to shine through. A portrait at Photography by

Pippin is about relationships, expression, character and emotion captured in the most natural way possible.
Alternative options to shooting at the studio in Stanmore are home studies where we come to you, as well as other locations such as the beach or city (POA). Feel free to contact us to discuss your ideas and to plan the best time and place for your portrait shoot.
Allow approximately 60-90 minutes for your portrait, this does vary and depends on the nature of your portrait shoot. We reserve Saturday appointments for family shoots when it’s difficult for dad to get time away from work, of course these days do book out quite a bit in advance. WHEN you book your portrait in is also very

important. Mornings are best for young children as is after sleep and meal times as this is when they’re at their happiest. If it’s a specific look or location you want, planning your shoot around a specific time of day so the light is perfect, will often get you the best results.
Shoot fees vary depending on what time of the week you book your shoot and where. Weekday shoots start at $140 and weekend shoots start at $190. Shoot fees are inclusive of the photographer’s time as well as your design appointment. Home studies or shoots outside the studio area may vary the fees – travel fee may be incurred (POA).
